答案不是E吧……E中them指代谁呢？前面只有The Sports Medicine Programs 和athletes是复数n，但是指代谁都不合逻辑吖……
我觉得是C，不知道对不对……

此题的答案是E。是prep上的题目耶。
them在这里指的是athletes啊！
只是不知道这个是不是个固定搭配。

是不是固定搭配就不知道了，但是词典给出的例句后面都是doing或名词，给个参考吧~

排除C是因为不平行 但我怎么觉得C才是平行的呢

我不懂耶，如果preparing和enhancing平行的话，不是得把toward补出吗？介词短语平行有补出原则啊，are geared towards V-ing···and towards V-ing···
C的话让 athletes' performance and their preparation平行不行吗

是的，这题我也有疑虑，为什么不是C，笔记说是因为“专有名词的复数:专有名词的复数跟普通单词一样,在词尾添加s表示复数概念”但是为什么原句未划线部分同位语是“ a complex where final tryouts”？是不是应该当单数主语来理解呢？求高手出来

楼上有一个解释应该是正确的，我也选错了，但是唯一能理解的就是，them的指代不应该是athletes而应该是sports medicine programs , 意思是，调节这个programs来做两件事 1，enhancing the perfromance of athletes 2 preparing the Programs for international competition （就是调节这个programs使它符合国际大赛的标准）

不知道这样理解正确不，期待牛牛解答
