这个是平行结构, 两个同位语修饰那个essay, 答案给的是A
我想问的是, 我发现很多题都是一个名词, 后面跟同位语或是现在分词, 就像这个A, B, C是同位语. D, E是分词, 分词这个时候放在这里它的逻辑主语应该是前面的名词呢, 还是主句主语, 这个问题困扰我很长时间了

SVO，doing. 这种结构-doing究竟是做定从修饰先行词还是做状语修饰相

关动词确实考的很多。就本题，个人的意见是，DE中的-dong是做定从，修饰

先行词Essay on Heat and Light。

因为，如果是做状语应伴随修饰谓词presented，其逻辑主语应为HD这个人。

句意为HD这个人在发表了一本书的同时还批评。。。而且，批评这个动作在发

表书的时候一直在延续。句意有歧义。

如果是做定语呢，-dong的逻主为Essay on Heat and Light。意为这本书

critiqued .... and envisioned....句意合理。

我觉得“如果是做状语应伴随修饰谓词presented，其逻辑主语应为HD这个人。句意为HD这个人在发表了一本书的同时还批评。。。”的逻辑意思是正确的，D，E错在最后一个分句的前后不平行，如果是critiquing做伴随的话，后面的a vision of就使得句子很混乱了，所以这里不能用伴随状态，只能是 a critique of与 a vision of平行

的确，不过也有过一次例外，就是盾牌是防御方法那个
