首先what错是因为加了逗号，what是不能引导非限定性定语从句的。
另外与其不如应该是rather... than结构，如果单独使用是宁愿的意思，e.g. I'll never be dependent on anyone again. I'd rather starve.
with it instead coming这句话就是读不通嘛，哪有with后面还instead的……

谢谢关于前两个问题的解释。
第三个问题with后面不能加instead，这种说法提醒了我想到BY上说的 ：介词后面只能够直接跟名词或者动词ING形式。
所以 with it 直接接代词本身就错了，我认为这样理解更好。
