我觉得这题考的是平行结构。
原句中使用的就是and连接的两个平行。从忠实原文的角度来说也应该选E
而且D选项by。。。to 也没有这个用法吧？

这个说法也是错误的

我觉得这道题考word rebundance, 因为lag far behind 已经有less的意

思了，所以划线句再使用less就是赘述。这题我也错了，嘿嘿。一开始也先排

除了AB，因为比较对象有问题。然后就分析， what 似乎不太好，至少不如直

接those of 对应原文的salaries of, 所以也排除了C。我也选了D,当时就认

为E改变了原文意思，哪里知道原来一开始的lag far behind才是这道题真正

的陷阱。咱们以后都应该注意。哈哈哈共同学习
