答案是B，我当时选的C，后来读起来觉得确实B会顺很多，对称一些，但是昨天在Manhattan第四版的教材里面看到一个例句：
Her company is outperforming that of her competitor.请问这里如果改成Her company is outperforming her competitor's会不会更好呢？其实第一种表达法到底有没有错呢？
其实仔细想来我觉得这种情况下是不能用that of 结构的。首先，这里的that指代有问题，因为前面是their eys，即使用这种结构也应该是those of a mammal。然后，这里的those又是指代什么呢？不能去掉their单独指代eyes吧？但是如果指代their eyes，那their eyes of a mammal不是很诡异？‘
所以结论就是我觉得Manhattan那个例句有问题~

<1>X's A  vs.  A of X
X是人时，前者好；
X是无生命物的东西，时后者好。
比如：
the book's content-->bad
content of the book-->good
<2>本题最好的应该是from those of mammals，those指代eyes，不是their eyes，但选项中没有。C选项中that是单数不能指代eyes，故错。B中from a mammal's (eyes)就对了。虽然不是太好，但B是唯一正确的选项。
<3>Her company is outperforming that of her competitor.没有错。而且gmat不太喜欢her competitor's。
<4>关于什么时候用that/those of X
只要前文出现国Y's B或B of Y，后面就可以用that/those of X。
比如：
My apple is bigger than yours.-->corret
My apple is bigger than that of Tom.-->correct
My apples are bigger than those of Tom.-->correct
Jerry's apple is bigger than that of Tom.-->correct
Jerry's apple is bigger than Tom's apple.-->correct
Jerry's apple is bigger than Tom's.-->correct

C D应该换成THOSE OF A MAMMAL，因为前面说的是EYES，要平行只能用复数。
TA/TA们的有2种利索的表达方式：HIS/HER/ITS/THEIR/名词’S 或者THAT/THOSE OF +名词，具体选哪个看要被平行的前面的名词。
THEIR EYES OF A MAMMAL错
EYES OF A MAMMAL’S双重主格也不好

E中的THAN错DIFFERERNT FROM固定搭配没有DIFFERENT THAN（不是比较级）

A错，因为鱼眼不能和MAMMAL比较，只能和MAMMAL的眼比较

就是去掉THEIR指代EYES，后面是MAMMAL的EYES

挺明白的，主要还是单复数的问题...唉，老是错老是错
