答案是B。但是B中说的顾客暗指"regular patron"。但是B对于"occational patron"根本就不起任何作用。那么在所有的"patron"中，是"regular patron"占多数，还是"occasional patron"？不知道！！！所以B充其量可以strengthen结论，但是还不够格作为assumption。

再来看E：

E说“收到thank you bill的顾客最后给的小费比他们起初打算给的要多”。多么漂亮的比较啊！！如果对E取非，就变成了“不管bill上写不写thank you，顾客给的小费都是一样多”。既然是这样，那还写"thank you"干什么？反正小费都是一样一样一样的！

E不成立，结论必不成立！

E选项说得是写和不写的区别,

B是随机写和经常写的区别,但是题目里面的推论是:随机写几张--平均小费增加 推出 经常写的话.小费会有很可观的增加

E可作为无关选项

不知道是不是这样理解,呵呵

e 说几乎所有收到thank u bill的顾客都给的多，但不能代表是thank u起的作用啊。可以是别的原因。

B说经常看到thank u也不会使顾客回到以前给tip的习惯，意思是 thank u 改变了顾客给tip的习惯，所以正是选项。

这个题我觉得E也是有可能对的，因为如果这些看到“thank u”的人不多给小费还是不能得到结论的。迷惑

把E取非是Virtually not all patrons  left larger tip， 假设有一半larger一半持平，tip 还是上升，argument 并没有 fall apart，所以E不对。
