我觉得it was 和should boost 不一致。对吗？

楼上解法是错的，making引导伴随状语，是独立的部分，没法和should boost平行。

楼上，你应该问什么时候可以省略一些词，什么时候不能省略

其实放在中文也一样，当省略不会造成句意歧义，并且省略与不省略是最终你筛选出的两个答案的唯一差别的时候，选择省略掉的那个。
