请教几个基本问题

刚刚开始申请呢，有一些基本的问题不明白，特来请教大家。帮帮忙。
（—）"Please  type/print clealy (Send this original
copy for this page only; do not send a word-processed version)"
这句话是什么意思？是说是打印呢还是可以手写呢？
什么是不可以send a word-processed version?
要是打印的话，怎么才可是正好打印到他给的空格地方呢？
（二）写essay 的时候，要求要double-spaced这是什么意思呢？

1) They want you 手写.
2) double-space is set by Microsoft Word. That refers to space between lines.
It clearly that PDF editor is not considered as 'word-processed' version. So, you can use Acrobat to edit it.
