benefit不等于profit.
新技术的唯一缺陷是需要regenerate, LL靠制造这个regenerate的东西获利, 但E说那种可以免去regenerate的新技术在研发, 这样的话, 即便new networks推出后, LL也无法获利, 因为新技术可以使信号不需要regenerate就可以传输

A，说electrical wires不需要regenerate就可以比fiber-optic传播信号传播得更远。但是原文结论（if new long-distance fiber-optic telecommunications networks are constructed.）说了已经换了fiber-optic，所以A选项的比较没有意义。

B，先留着。

C，可以carry多少volume与可不可以transmit farther不能建立联系，注意原文讨论的关键是传播举例问题，因为信号在fiber-optic中传播的时候会deteriorate,所以才提出要通过regernerator.C是无关选项。

D，理由同A，已经说了要换fiber-optic,所以即使有一种技术可以使信号不通过wire或者fiber-optic cabe传播也不能影响结论。
