一般来说Cornell的General Management和Accounting比较好，我的几个美国朋友都觉得那里是学GM的地方，所以录取的corporate背景的申请人挺多的。另外，学校也有关注VC, PE的历史，所以Entreprenuer的申请人也不少。我当初申请还发现一点的就是，学校的marketing中特别有e-marketing的方向，这在其他学校不多见，而事实证明今年入学的好几位也都有这方面背景。


除了学校的Immersion program非常有特色（帮你早点进入商业现实）以外，我个人最推崇的Cornell的一点是学校自身的良好管理，对学生高度负责。别忘了，拿到录取只是第一步，从商业行为的角度来讲只不过是签订了Contract，接下我方要付费而学校要deliver service。今年形势特殊，很多学校都没有non-consigner loan，这方面学校一直在努力而且最后还是成功地work出了一个方案，同时，学校一直在马不停蹄地安排大家housing、签证、financial aid, orientation、class pre-work等各方面事宜，整个过程井然有序，有什么问题，我们都一封信就能找到对应的部门解决。所以，总的来说我认为对学生的负责是学校的一大优势。


R1和R2从校方审查标准来讲没有任何区别，但是有能力争取R1的当然要申请R1，毕竟，每年申请形势都不一样，对同一个申请人而言，早申请总是能够争取到更大的可能性，当然前提是要准备到位。我们今年入学的华人R1,R2,R3的都有。不过R3没有从大陆录取的。

The Johnson School offers a new International Student Loan Program (ISLP) that provides partial funding to admitted international students in our full-time two-year MBA and Accelerated MBA program. Credit-worthy international students are eligible to apply and there is no requirement to secure a U.S. citizen or resident as a co-signer. The annual loan limit will be based on the cost of tuition minus any other aid received as certified by the School. View terms and conditions for this loan program.

Students who are interested need to complete an online application at http://www.accessgroup.org/isp/ and may have to provide other information in order to meet regulatory and underwriting requirements to the Access Group, the loan servicer for this program.

Please do not submit an application before June 1 (May 1 for AMBA program). Note the Johnson School does not allow US student loans to be used on a declaration of finances form.

Global Student Loan Corporation (GSLC) and HSBC have designed an international student loan program to provide funding specifically to students from India to attend U.S. schools. This solution enables you to borrow funds to cover the complete cost of education - tuition, room, board, books and equipment. International students also have the option to borrow through a US lender with a credit worthy US or permanent resident co-signer. A co-signer loan may carry a lower interest rate.

Adcom说他们是有点慢，第二轮decision deadline的时候大概还有15个左右的人没有面，所以就拖到了现在。
所以R3的人不要急啦，好好准备准备电面吧，多半没有alumni选择的。
看来我是人来疯那种的，电面太不适合我了。

Cornell Johnson 电话面试

我申请的是1Y的AMBA，昨天电话面试，问题都很传统，明显的按模板问问题。

Go through your resume;

Career goal after MBA;

Why MBA;

Why Johnson;

How to deal with conflict;

Your leadership story;

What clubs or organization you are interested in;

What's your weakness;

Other schools applied;

Any question to ask.


比较特别的地方是问了很多关于我现在的工作，负责什么，怎么考核，举例说明等。可能因为我工作时间比较长，最后一份工作也比较特殊吧。

面试官是Debbie，应该算Admin吧，人特别nice，但说话基本不带感情，很难判断她的态度，很职业的面试官。我的account manager也是Heidi，好像很多人都是她负责联系，人不错。我没收到这几天大家讨论的christmas card，但我想收到不收到都不说明什么问题，不要担心，学校管理应该还没先进到可以区别性的群发邮件。

一直潜水，发点东西赞赞RP。祝大家好运，也祝自己好运。

对我大学时的创业开翻译公司很感兴趣，我告诉她为什么开，当时就是一个entrepreneurship dream，再加上觉得有外校资源，没多想，脑子里就是do it first, ask questions later，把她逗笑了@_@，不知笑点在哪里。讲了一下怎么run的。
