Lehigh's program was academically rigorous. Even though this is a part-time program this is a degree you earn. It is not handed out for just showing up.

Lehigh's program does an excellent job teaching foundational material in all of the key functional areas of business. You graduate from the program confident that you can contribute not just to your functional specialty but also with a managerial mindset applicable to all areas.

Bradley University had too many true academics (no work experience).

I learned an incredible amout from the Lehigh University program. It seemed that after every class, I was able to take something back to work with me and use it right away.

Additionally, Lehigh professors are second to none. They have real world experience. They take the theory in the text, sweep away the fluff, and show how to apply it to real world situations.

Some professors had not fully embraced the technology available to the students (Blackboard, etc.). Others embraced it and used it to the advantage of the students. Those classes were always more productive.

It would have been nice to have more professional facilities in the business school for the graduates. We shared the same class rooms as the undergrads. I really hated the classrooms where the chairs were attached to the desks.



I feel that the Lehigh MBA program is hands-down the best MBA program in the Lehigh Valley and probably in the U.S. Having been a transfer student from a university in the Midwest, there is no comparison to the Lehigh MBA program. It is simply the best value for the dollar. I have heard similar comments from fellow students.

Too focused on qualitative and application of concepts. Very little focus on quantitative methodologies or underlying economic theories.

It's by far the most demanding and most respected MBA program in the area.

I found the coursework challenging and felt it gave me a better understand of business and could apply it to my work situations and believe others would benefit from it.

Every class had group work. I don't think that's necessary given that all of the students in the program are working professionals who know how to work in a group.

Instructors were very experienced (20+ years experience). Most importantly, they had experience working in corporations, VC firms, retail, health-care, politics, etc from which they were able to draw real world examples to the discussions. I was also very impressed that the professors kept up-to-date on topics and issues most relevant to business today. The professors always gave us their office phone numbers and their personal cell phone numbers so that we could reach them off-hours, which shows their respect for us balancing work, life and study.

I was impressed with the value offered by this excellent school. For relatively reasonable tuition costs, the facilities, staff quality, flexibility of scheduling one's classes etc. were very good. Moreover, the finance program is extremely good with some of the best professors teaching with great care. One advantage is the connections this school has with the Wall Street.

I'd like to see more global case studies as opposed to 95% focus on US companies. I think there should be increased focus on understanding globalization from a historical perspective, as opposed to purely engaging in a discussion where rest of the world is seen from US/Western perspective (many are ignorant about rest of the world, for example, how China and India dominated the world GDP in 1700s). This complete lack of understanding of the histories of other emerging economies lead to highly skewed debates usually making students to dwell on totally uninformed claims in a rather aggressive way.

Lehigh's program is the most challenging part-time program in my geographical area. They also have an outstanding entrepreneurship series that can be combined with or without the MBA program. The most appealing aspect of Lehigh's program to me is that they require 2-3 years of business experience prior to students enrolling. I have been in the business world for a while, and gained as much from my interactions with other experienced students as from my instructors!

There were many networking sessions, cocktail hours, speakers, etc. The MBA team is very active and hosts dozens of events throughout the year.
