The University and State of Illinois budget issues are currently not impacting our recruitment efforts as our funding for students is derived from NIH grant funds, not the University or State.  For the last 5 years we have admitted students based on the number of available lab slots, which limits the possibility of over enrollment.  This year we are looking for about 40 new students, which is an average recruiting year for our program.
