TECHNOLOGY
Technology improvements in the last three academic years:
All Stern classrooms are now SmartClassrooms, incorporating technology to enhance teaching and learning. Lecture Capture Systems enable students to view classes at a later time, and students can access course-related software online from any location. All of Stern's buildings are wireless. Stern has a laptop requirement and supports Dell and Apple laptops, as well as iPhones and other smartphones. “Print nooks” are available around the School for printing from laptops. A web-based survey system has been made available to all students

Loved NYU! I feel my education was worth more than what I spent. My fellow students came from such diverse backgrounds, were intelligent and had great personalities! Professors were approachable, very strong in their fields and inspired me. The operations of the program were very smooth; I realize what they do to keep the program going day to day must be very labor intensive but they made it seem easy. Also loved all the online resources and systems. The IT group must be great!

The flexibility of the Stern schedule allowed me to give my best at work and in the classroom. Stern's high grading standard pushed me to excel and allowed me to take my career in the direction I wanted to. I was able to achieve what I wanted to when I joined the program.

NYU had excellent coursework with talented students from diverse backgrounds that made learning a pleasure. I felt that my MBA at NYU gave me a solid base understanding of business fundamentals as well as applicable, current perspectives in specific areas that interest me

Most instructors are icons in their areas of expertise, some professionally and some academically. Some are removed from the real-world experience, but only a small minority. Essentially all the instructors were excellent communicators and passionate about their subjects.

I think the career center for working professionals should be open after normal business hours. It made no sense for an office dedicated to working professionals to be open while those professionals were at their jobs. It was very difficult to schedule in-person meetings with this office.
