我的意见是本题的中心不是讨论钱有没有增加，加钱是手段，目的是吸引更多的人来当法官。所以他们讨论的焦点是法官的职位是不是变得更吸引人。
问题问的是Pat's response is inadequate because...实际上也就是问Pat的逻辑错误

选项A Pat认为现在没人去讲学，所以新加入的人也不去讲学。我们可以倒推一下，如果有个人经常讲学，他又想当法官，当他听说当法官后就不能讲学了，他当法官的意愿也就降低了。因此Ban还是有消极作用的。而C选项 本身并不是一个逻辑错误，而是Pat的论证方式
