答案是A，我选择的是C，看了后面的注释还是不理解，注释如下：

我觉得注释写的很trick啊，我从全文看，感觉不出文章那么强烈的postive。我挺怕这类题目的，感觉无从下手啊。

这题我开始也选的c，因为我开始觉得"plausible" is better than "well founded".其实这两个选项都不是绝对的positive or negative, but includes both of them. 作者并没有否定这个理论，第一段其实是作者客观的证明这个理论的优点，只不过文章后半段说的是这个理论未能解释的部分整体读完之后，会让人对后半段印象比较深刻，进而理解为作者对该理论持否定态度的结论。但其实再仔细看，两段内容其实是并列的，作者并没有因为后面不能解释的问题而否定了这个理论。只是说明它还不够完善。进而a选项还是较好的~~
不知道说明白了没~~
