这个题我我的理解是这样的
with 有两种用法：
(1)with+n 的介宾短语做状语或定语
(2)with+n+-ing/-ed/adj/介宾短语等做独立主格结构。独立主格只做状语，表伴随，仅用于修饰主谓宾结构主句的谓语动词。如 The murderer was brought in, with his hands tied behind his back。


上面两种情况的区别在于，(1)只是一个短语，而(2)with后的部分有句子的意思，即动词的形式被修改了，去掉的句子的特性。稍微修改，就能把with后的部分还原为一个句子（如加上be动词或把ing换为原型）
（注，with后决不能跟句子）

D、E选项中，with引导的是一个独立主格结构，而主句是主系表结构，主语The results没有发出一个动作，所以with没办法去伴随谁。而正确答案用的是whose引导的非限制性定语从句，解释这个利润怎样怎样。
