最近，很多公司从使用石化燃料为动力的老技术转向使用电力为动力的新技术，很明显，这些公司使用基于新技术的运作与不使用新技术时相比，减少了石化燃料的使用。下面哪一个加强了以上论述？
A选项说使用新技术的公司增加了产量，原文说的是新技术的使用较少了石化燃料的使用。无关，排除。
B选项说的是制造（新技术使用的）机器需要更少的石化燃料。该选项只能是稍微加强了原文的推论，但是，我觉得制造使用该技术的机器不一定是operation的一部分，因为公司有可能从其他公司购买该机器，如果是这样的话制造该机器减少的石化燃料使用就不属于题目中那些公司使用新技术减少的石化燃料的使用的范畴了。即使，这些机器的制造属于operation的范围，制造这些机器只是operation的一小部分，如果其他环节，如成品包装，增加了石化燃料的消耗并抵消了制造机器过程中减少的石化燃料，那么总的石化燃料的消耗就没有减少，该论述所以就起不到加强的作用。（其实这个选项不确定的话可以先放着，加强题是选加强力度最大的）

关于B这个选项，我是第一遍就排除了的，因为里面用了was显然是过去发生的事情，然而题设最后的结论是要说明现在的情况的。我记得以前一个外交说过，中国学生说英语时往往忽略了时态，其实这是一种习惯，没有意识到时态在英语中有多重要。他当时讲到雅思听力就说，很少有人去注意听力中的时态，然而时态往往对迅速理解对话的时间空间背景有很大的作用。这里扯远了。。。但是看看这道题的讨论，不管在这个论坛还是别的论坛里都没有涉及到B选项的时态问题，说明我们没有从根本上把握这门语言。。。

自己闲着瞎扯。。。大家见谅~

这个关于时态的解释比较强大~，但通过这个来排除的话不知道准确率怎么样，因为SC与CR有时候不太一样啊~
不过值得借鉴！
这个题目我也选成了B，其实文中的一个词“operation"很关键，被我忽略了~
