【求助】 Prep1-62 对正确答案的疑惑

对于这道题我的推导是 Pwith interview jobapplicants who have personalities that are unsuited to the requirements of thejob will be eliminated from consideration; C:The interview is an essential part of a successful hiring program




可是正确答案(C)似乎是对premise的重复,因为premise已经说interview可以eliminate 不符合企业要求的人了,而根据P==>C的推导,正确答案应该偏向:能否排除不适合企业的人是判断hiring program是否成功的重要因素啊~~~可能我想多了吧,就是觉得(C)选项不符合题目的逻辑推导啊~~求NN指正!!

翻译原题的意思是:因为性格不合适的申请人可以通过interview去除,所以interview很重要 C选项不是重复 C中的第一个词是Interviewer 指的是面试官 不是interview 所以C的意思是说面试官要能够正确判断一个申请人的性格 这就是题目的assumption 因为题目没有说到谁来决定申请者合不合适 只是interview的作用是筛选性格不合适的人 但是 只有正确判断出申请人性格合适或不合适才能作出筛选的决定

Basically it says: Interview has the potential to eliminate bad apples. Thus, interview is essential for successful hiring.
Necessary assumption. Use negation.

If you negate C), you get:
Interviewers CANNOT accurately identify applicants whose personalities are unsuited to the requirements of the job.
If so, the bad apples are not eliminated and, consequently, the hiring program is not successful! So C) is a necessary assumption.

The key is to understand that "will be eliminated" hinges on the interviewer's ability to recognize those undesirable personalities in the interviewee.
