Secondly, if your essays haven't changed, it makes adcom question how much you've grown and improved since your last application. If nothing has changed, and they didn't take you the last time round, it's very likely they won't take you again this time. Most successful reapplicants incorporate the feedback into their application, and continue progressing professionally to give adcom better evidence of their professional capability.
Indeed, given that you've mainly spent your time working on another degree, adcom might also question why you need an MBA immediately, and whether you have clearly thought out your goals.
