关于OG12 94题的一点想法
94. Studies in restaurants show that the tips left by customers who pay their bill in cash tend to be larger when the bill is presented on a tray that bears a credit card logo. 刚刚做了的这道题,也看了很多网上对该题的解释,始终不能完全说服自己。OG答案是B,但是个人认为此题本身存在一定的瑕疵。
首先,如果完全按照题目的字面意思,我理解的题目原意应为:研究表明,顾客看到logo会留下更多的小费,心理学家的解释是logo让持有信用卡的人认为自己有更强的支付能力,所以乐于多付小费。问题问以下哪个最能支持心理学家的解释。
再来看答案B的解释,同样是看到了logo,由于想到了自身的还贷压力,所以顾客倾向于少付小费,这就和前面的研究结果以及心理学家的解释相矛盾,变成了一个削弱。
那么要如何才能得出答案B是正确的呢?就只能充分发挥个人的想象了,首先,题目中心理学家的解释重点并不在对研究现象的说明,而是强调logo的影响作用(当然题中并没有直接提到)。最后的问题部分也不能理解为最能支持心理学家关于这个现象的解释是什么(因为现象的解释是看见logo多付小费),而应该理解成最能帮助心理学家证明logo有影响作用的是什么?至此,才能圆满得出答案B。
我觉得从开始的现象,再到logo的影响作用,题目中并没有给出很好的衔接,而要成功解出该题,只能依靠想象和推测来建立联系。较以往的题目相比,是不是要求大家自身想象的内容多了一些也牵强了一些。因此我觉得此题本身有欠缺。
