Due to the disruption in Internet service in Asia Pacific, some candidates in the affected areas may experience difficulties in submitting their applications. The MIT Sloan School of Management will accept and consider as on time any application submitted up to 5:00 p.m. (Boston time) Friday, January 26, 2007, from candidates in Asia Pacific affected by the disruption. Here are some helpful hints to ensure smooth submission of your application: - Check the Message Center and login screen often for important messages or updates from the MIT Sloan School.
- Verify that your email address is correct.
- Hotmail account users: to unblock emails from the MIT Sloan School, go to "Options", "Safe List (Mail Handling)" and add the domain name "mit.edu" to your Safe List.
- Save your work often.
- You will need a web browser that has Javascript activated. Pop-up blockers should be disabled.
- Supported web browsers include Internet Explorer 5 and above, Netscape 6 and above, Safari (for Macintosh users), and Firefox. Do not use AOL's internal browser.
- After you press the SUBMIT button, you will be prompted to enter your credit card information to pay the application fee. Follow the payment instructions carefully to ensure proper submission.
- Contact the MIT Sloan School (email: adcom@sloan.mit.edu) in advance of the deadline if you are unable to use a credit card to pay the application fee.
