补充一下：做assumption题目的标准方法是将选项取非，如果能使原命题不成立则为正确答案。简而言之选项取非后当weaken来做。
本题中 B,If a gadget breaks quickly, it was probably manufactured in East Golo取非则为如果gadget很快坏掉，则不可能为EG地方制造。显然是提干不成立。
E，Nothing that is manufactured in East Golo can be expected to last more than a week.
取非则为：EG造的东西存在被认为能用一周以上的东东，显然不能削弱提干。

ASSUMPTION 可以用取非, 但由于无法预测答案, 比较耗时. 可以用"桥梁法"

1. 分清ARGUMENT和CONLUSION

2. 找出ARGUMENT 和CONLUSION 所涉及的名词概念, 找出差异, 即是论述的GAP

3.挑出选项中能弥补这一GAP的.

注意用收敛思维, 文中没论述的千万要小心. 如本题的E

我补充一下：用这种思路最好是已经有不错的逻辑基础的朋友，因为填补gap有很多种可能性，往往预测的和实际答案相差甚远，如果逻辑基础不强则会陷入自己先入为主的答案选不出来。此外，还涉及楼上提到的扩大推理的问题，如这道题目E是assumption的一种最极端的可能，E如果成立提干肯定成立，所以E是最好的桥梁但不能成为assumption答案，如果用填补gap法则很容易误选。
所以，我觉得楼上的不失为一种好方法，但要谨慎使用，如果不能十分确定还是用标准方法检验一下。
