D的错误在于不必要地改变了A的结构，A的平行结构dwelt和had都是主句谓语部分，平行匹配合理，而D将A的后半部分改为一个with的介词短语，使之成为一个附带成分，改变句子的结构和重心；而且with短语的修饰对象也比较模糊，从语法上with短语完全可能修饰sky was这个主谓结构。
