F1 4000 pass in Singapore everything goes ok
Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who encourage, support and help me.
Below is my visa experience.
Background: F1, TA, visa rejected in Beijing in 2002 (twice) and 2004.
No offer change. Major in Chemistry
Studying for 2 yrs and working for 9 months in Singapore.
Visa application in Singapore on April 29th, 2005:
V Your Birthday is ….?
Me: Sorry?
V Your Birthday is ….?
Me: Yeah.
(VO looked the screen, i20 and DS forms carefully)
V what are you doing now in Singapore?
Me: I am working as a research associate in …Company.
V Are you PR?
Me: No, I am holding employment pass.
(VO began to look for my EP in passport for a long time, then he asked me to find that page. He looked at it very carefully and let me show him my work card)
V Which University will you go?
Me: ….
V What type assistantship they gave you?
Me: TA.
V how about the yr 2002 and 2004 when you were turned down in Beijing?
Me: The same univ. and the same assistantship.
(V read through my offer letter and i20 again, Shaking his head)
V What are you doing in your company?
Me:….
V what will you study in US?
Me: …..
(VO sent me the yellow card and said come on next Wednesday.)
Me: Thank you. But excuse me, can it issue now? I mean whether it needs to print out just before 90 days prior the starting day of the school?
VO(No patience): Six months!
