The University of Michigan MBA application is now live, for applicants targeting Ann Arbor this 2015-2016 admissions season. This means that the Ross MBA recommendation questions are now available. Recommenders are asked to provide brief (250 word) responses to two questions about the applicant’s broad skills and receptiveness to feedback, to rate the applicant on a series of leadership and professional qualities, and to offer some brief context about their relationship with the candidate. The Ross adcom opens by asking recommenders to address two Evaluative Questions: Please describe the most important piece of constructive feedback you have given the applicant. Please detail the circumstances and the applicant’s response. (250 words) How do the candidate’s performance, potential or personal qualities compare to those of other well-qualified individuals in similar roles? Please provide specific examples.
