请问如果挂科了如何计算GPA？是用补考后的成绩计算？还是就没有机会申请了？

 it's up to the school. they will issue a transcript including all scores you got.

Ask your school for a transcript.  Generally a F is considered 0.  You should be prepared to explain if you are ever asked about it, during an interview, for example.
