We consider a high level of involvement in student organizations, networking and career efforts to be a hallmark of the University of Washington MBA experience. Please describe your anticipated level of involvement as an MBA student beyond the MBA course requirements. In what specific organizations or activities will you participate? Where do you expect to make the greatest contribution to the overall MBA experience at the University of Washington? What aspects of your past or current life provide insights into your ability and willingness to consistently deliver more than the minimum effort required?

主要就是让你谈论你对于参加学校各种社团,社交活动的积极主动性吧. 有明确要求你写出你想要参加的关于他们学校PROGRAM的具体活动内容, 还有你将对学校作出的contribution. 最后句就是让你结合你过去和现在的生活经验, 去证明出你对于参与各项社交活动的能力及主动性.

要是我写,我会先描述下自己对于这个"参与性"的看法,然后结合过去及现在在生活和工作上的各种extra-activity的经历,来证明我的involvement potencial. 然后结合学校各种student organization, networking等阐述下我对哪些活动有特别的兴趣及原因. 最后结合自己的经验和背景来说明对这些活动我可以作出什么贡献.

LZ的背景为何？

重点是申请人必须要定位出个人的品牌方向

从过去经历与个人性格所理出的未来长期与短期的目标中

去解释为什么要在繁重的MBA课程学习中

要花额外精力来参与甚至主导这些课余活动

而adcom要找的是申请人选择这些活动的背后逻辑

还有在有限的时间精力下

所安排的活动是否合理可行

盲目列上所有相关活动将被视为不切实际

LZ可以再深思这些标出的活动

第一件会另adcom产生疑虑的是为何会有如此跳跃式的选择

为何会同时要有charity，finance，operation，entertainment， bizcomm ，entrepreneur & innovation 

还有个不知到底内容为何的student support network？

即使LZ想要创业会需要如此全方位的活动选择

也不太可能出现的charity与entertainment及甚至finance, inoovation的组合

却没有marketing，net impact，或mba association 

即使活动与申请人都有相关

也要看背后的逻辑是否合理

这些二十年老经验的委员会都太厉害了

只需要十秒钟就能判断申请人是不是知道如何自我管理

MBA Finance Society 选这个因为觉得之前有过相关的经历

Provides networking opportunities in the finance industry as well as a forum to explore current issues in the field.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club 选这个我写，我以后想创业 Society for Entertainment, Leisure and Travel (SELT) Club    Brings together MBA students who are interested in these three industries and want to reach out, connect and network locally, nationally and internationally. 选这个我写我愿意多参与活动
