关于比较结构省略的问题

各位大侠帮帮忙！关于比较结构省略的问题

各位大侠帮帮忙，我想请问一下比较结构后面部分省略的时候不是应该不助

动词吗，碰到前面有情态动词的时候怎么办？下面几道题何解呢？？？下周

就考了，谢谢帮忙！

1）绿皮书上的原题
Troy quantities of more than thirty rare gases,most of them

industrial by-product,threaten to warm the Earth's atmosphere even

more rapidly over the next 50 years than carbon dioxide (will).
我上过XDF的班，是石林讲语法，他说后面省略的是will，为什么？在这道题

中，前面的部分的动词是threaten，后面不是应该补充do吗？这里为什么是

will呢？如果前面是will+do的形式，后面补出时应该是什么形式,will/do还

是两者均可吗？

2）绿皮书上的题，下面是正确的答案：
The guiding principals of the tax plan released by the Treasury

Department could have even greater significance for the economy

than have the particulars of the plan.

在这道题中，前面既有情态动词could又有谓语动词have,这样后面应该是do

还是could呢？

2 关于as结构的省略结构的翻译问题。

本句子比较应该是 troy quantities... threaten to warm....even more ...than carbon dioxide will warm.

threaten挺狠的，好象表达了将来的动作，却保持了一般现在时态。创造了比较主体间的时态差异

例如：众多牛牛的存在威胁我下月考G取得高分。 虽然我是下月考试，但是这种威胁是现在就存在的。

当然，carbon dioxide 已经不是威胁了，公认已经产生了。

2.The guiding principals of the tax plan released by the Treasury Department could have even greater significance for the economy than have the particulars of the plan.

在这道题中，前面既有情态动词could又有谓语动词have,这样后面应该是do还是could呢？

我觉得可以do or could，表达不同的意思。但是have不行。

比较结构一直是我的心病，经这位牛牛指点还是不甚了解。

所谓的补出助动词，助动词不就是应该指do吗？为什么还有的补出情态动词

呢？如果句子中出现情态动词+动词的结构，后面补出的是不是两个都可以？

能够请哪位NN给出一个确定性的答案。

一般来说比较的两个主语在时间上是一致时,如须补足动词,补出与主句谓语相对应的助动词或动词即可.如果是情态动词当然也要对应情态动词.但语言是活的,当比较的两个主体在时间上不一致时,补出的谓语在时态上就要作相应的变化.

举例说明: You have more money than she has. vs. You have more money than your parents had when they were your age. 希望这些即兴例子没举错,但大概意思理解就行.

同理,当比较的两个主体在比较的语气上有变化时,后面须补出的助动词也要有所变化.比如提到的例子:

用could表示the particulars of the plan的影响是猜测的,用do表示其影响已然确定.总之要看上下文的含义.
