What is the remainder when the two-digit, positive integer x is divided by 3 ?
(1) The sum of the digits of x is 5.
(2) The remainder when x is divided by 9 is 5.
Ans. D : My ans. is B
Since (1), pairs are (1,4), (4,1), (2,3), (3,2) & (5,0), thus remainder will be 0, 1 & 2
Form (2), X=9k+5, thus remainder must be 2 (unique)
