虽然答案是E，我还是倾向于D。［另：原题Ｅ选项好象还有一个paid]

我无法理解E中的over的作用和用法。无论做副词还是做介词都没有办法解释(做介词，整个介词部分成分有问题；做副词，即不能修饰paid也不能修饰discrimination).

而在D中：

that favros predonminatly male occupations over those that are predominantly female has

over是属于favor sth over sth的固定搭配的。

尤其注意的是：

1）favors用单数，表明修饰的是discriminaton而不是wages，没有修饰歧义；

2）由于predominantly是副词，决定了female是adj，因此those that are predominantly female没有所谓的occupations are female的歧义。

关于that are的省略：

的确，在定语从句中的that be通常要省略，以示简洁，但前提应该是没有歧义，假设D省略that are变成：that favros predonminatly male occupations over those predominantly female has，反而造成those与female谁修饰谁的问题（当然，有predominantly这个副词在，还是可以识别的），不如保留that are使语意清晰准确。如果一味强调Ｄ没有省略that are，其实并不是反对that are，而是先入为主地认为Ｄ是错误的了。

当然，如果有ＮＮ能指导Ｅ的各个成分关系，我也乐于接受Ｅ。

就眼前我所掌握的语法和用法而言，Ｄ比Ｅ更符合语言习惯和用法。

同意himbann的说法。d是不够平衡，但不是上面说的平衡。第一个that 从句是修饰歧视的。predonminatly male occupations 和those that are predominantly female平衡。还凑合吧。
