OG207--转折语气

我记得如果语意发生转折，那么应该用转折词，而 and 是无法表示转折语气的。那么这里是否应该用and呢？还是应该用yet/while？

请大家指点！

207. In the textbook publishing business, the second quarter is historically weak, because revenues are low and marketing expenses are high as companies prepare for the coming school year.

(B) low and their marketing expenses are high as they prepare

个人觉得用and,因为revenues are low和expenses are high 都说明了weak.

而且怎么说呢？感觉revenue和expense是方向相反的两个东东，一个高一个底刚好不构成转折。如果两个同高或两个同底时才有转折的意思。比如：revenues are high yet expenses are high, too.(收入高，但费用也高，言下之意就是利润不高。)

不应该但看词的转折意义，high  low ， 而应该看句义的转折意义。
