og224中很明显,如果不加were,或者from的话,就会有两种理解:

(1)Aleuts or Inuits of the North Pacific and northern Alaska与主语Inuits of the Bering Sea 并列 (2) Aleuts or Inuits of the North Pacific and northern Alaska 与Europeans并列,这样,就必须用from 或were指明到底是那一种情况. 具体的规则不是特别清楚,但从做题的过程中,我总结出:只要前面出现两种或两种以上名词(都用单数或者都用复数表达),后面的成分要与其中一个对应,就必须有明确的介词, 助动词, 重新陈述的名词,或将前面的两种名词从数上区分(一个用单数,一个用复数来表示), 以保证不产生歧意.
