Thanks to those of you who submitted an application in Round 2. This round is historically our biggest, yielding about 60% of our total applications. So as you can imagine, the Admissions Committee is very busy reviewing your applications. We review every completed application that we receive, regardless of GMAT, GPA, or years of full-time work experience.
Interview Invitations Because we review applications before inviting applicants for an interview, it may take some time before you receive an interview invitation. Those selected will be contacted by email to schedule an interview. Invitations will be extended between now and the end of February. Applications are not read in any particular order. The timing of our invitation to interview is not an indication of an applicant’s qualifications or likelihood of being admitted.
We will make every effort to interview applicants who may be placed on our waitlist in Round 2, but some applicants may be placed on the waitlist without having been interviewed. We will reach out to those applicants during Round 3.
Decision Notification Round 2 admissions decisions will be posted on Embark on March 15, 2009. For those applicants who were placed on our waitlist in Round 1, we will notify you by email only if your status has changed.
Congratulations to those of you who completed your application in Round 2. We look forward to getting to know you through your application. And good luck to those of you who are planning to apply in Round 3. (The deadline is March 1, 2009.) Rest assured that we do admit applicants in the final round! |
