While Stanford has announced that it will be laying-off 12% of its non-academic staff, Wharton has just filled four positions. In fairness to Stanford, Wharton has not been adding positions, but filling vacancies – notably, one in the Admissions Office, where Jonathan Cutler, a Wharton alum with experience at Johnson and Johnson and Aramark, replaces another Wharton alum, Thomas Caleel, who departed this past summer after almost three years.
In addition to Mr. Cutler, Wharton announced that Ira Rubien will become the Executive Director of Communications, Leonard Lodish the Vice Dean of the Program for Social Impact and Douglas Collom the Executive Director of Wharton West. |
