Q14:

$10,000 is deposited in a certain account that pays r percent annual interest compounded annually, the amount D(t), in dollars, that the deposit will grow to in t years is given by D(t) = 10,000 {1+(r/100)}t.  What amount will the deposit grow to in 3 years?

(1)     D(t) = 11,000

(2)     r =10

                  

A. Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.

B. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.

C. BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.

D. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.

E. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

答案是D,但我觉得是B,因为根据1是得不出答案的。哪位好心人帮我确认一下?谢谢!

支持B。不过ETS不会这么蠢,A里面没有涉及t得值,应该是出题人忘了给条件,所以无法判断。

不过就题目中A的条件,说明D(t)是一个恒定值,所以选D也没有错。

我想,明白了考点,就不深究其是否严谨了。我敢打赌,考试的时候肯定不会是这样的。
