TECHNOLOGY
Technology improvements in the last three academic years:
Upgraded the real-time ticker/tracker screens as well as the backend configuration of the Reliant Trading Center (RTC). Replaced led based information screens with LCD monitors to provide more flexibility for teaching and presentation in the RTC. Upgraded Projectors and Smart Podiums were placed in every class and seminar room to provide a homogeneous teaching and learning environment regardless of the room being utilized. We completed the rollout of wireless access for all floors and all areas in Mays buildings. 150 Computers in the Master's Labs and Research Lab were replaced. All Classrooms, Seminar Rooms, and Breakout rooms had computers replaced with new technology. SMART Podiums were installed in the classrooms. New projectors were installed in the classrooms and seminar rooms. Creston control systems were added or upgraded in the classrooms. The new MKTG research lab was equipped with new furniture. CPS receivers were installed in every classroom. On a departmental level, all computers in the INFO and ACCT labs were replaced with new equipment. Server hardware and offsite backup capabilities were upgraded and expanded.
