请教一题关于with结构的。。。。。

prep里有一题是说：
visitors to the park have often looked up into the leafy canopy and [saw monkeys sleeping on the branches,whose arms and legs hang] like socks on a clothesline.
在两个选项之间犹豫了
B、saw monkeys sleeping on the branches, whose arms and legs were hanging

E.seen monkeys sleeping on the branches, with arms and legs hanging.

求问E中的with为什么就能修饰monkeys而B中的whose 就不能呢？？

首先B的saw就错了，LZ肯定没问题哈；就看whose和with的比较来讲，

with为独立主格，直接做sleeping伴随状语；而whose乍一看就是修饰的

branches。。。。但是LZ会说whose可以跳跃呀，修饰monkey啦。。。。但

是对于修饰语来讲，还是应该越靠近中心名词越好，至少不会引起歧义。很

多og中给的解释原因就是：修饰语离中心词太远了。。。。

所以我是觉得，GMAT考试的原则还是不是找对的，而是找相对来讲最好的。。。。
