KelloggMBA在校生谈：Kellogg的文化

Kellogg的文化以student-run 和teamwork为闻名, 在这里, 除了一些极其重要的事情,所有的事情都由学生领导完成, 由此, 学生有很多机会来实践领导力, 所以大家都比较喜欢relaxed 和fun的活动, party school 名不虚传. 我觉得这其实是很好的一点, 中国学生在学术上从来就不弱, 而最缺乏的就是社交和沟通技巧, 在Kellogg, 我们有很多的机会来取长补短. 
所以在Wharton同学在埋头写作业和准备考试,Harvard同学在拼命准备case的时候,Kellogg的同学们很幸灾乐祸地前往世界各地开始一周的Kwest旅行. 作为Kellogg非常重要和著名的开门红,Kwest是85%以上同学都会选择去参加并且在多年之后还会津津乐道的一次活动, 以下是我们收到的关于KWEST的信息: Kellogg Worldwide Experiences and Service Trips (KWEST) are one of the most popular student activities at Kellogg, bringing together incoming students and four or five second-year trip leaders through a variety of outdoor and community service activities on a domestic U.S. or international trip. All KWEST trips take place during the week before CIM (Pre-term activities) and are entirely student-run. Ask almost any Kellogg student about KWEST and you are likely to hear it is one of the most beloved and defining experiences of their time here at Kellogg. Each trip offers an amazing outdoor adventure, a chance to contribute to communities in need and the opportunity to bond with other incoming students. You’ll form lifelong friendships with people who share the same passion for travel and exploration as you, whether that means hiking in Norway, scuba diving in Belize, lounging by the pool in the Caribbean or going who knows where on the Mystery Trip. This year’s KWEST trips will include a diverse spectrum of trip locations, levels of service, activities and price.
 我去的是阿拉斯加,在那7天里,我们去了两个国家公园, hiking3次, 乘坐私人飞机横跨Denali National Park, 坐小游艇出海看蓝色的冰川和海洋生物, 玩white water rafting(漂流), 去Avenue Bar跳舞和喝酒. 最为重要的,不是去玩了什么,而是交到了24个好朋友,因为一起经历淋雨吹风受冻没有觉睡, 大家的感情都很好, 我们还得以了解很多国家(英国,巴西,印度,巴基斯坦,爱尔兰,韩国,美国) 的文化风情.
