In Fall 2008, the College of Business opened a new, technologically state-of-the-art Business Instructional Facility with MBA classrooms boasting video-conferencing, multiple A/V displays, and an environmentally responsible space that includes LCD an projection-equipped breakout/study rooms. The building's Margolis Market Information Laboratory includes classrooms and lab space with advanced software and hardware for financial engineering. Other College advancements include a custom ePortfolio and reporting system for faculty, introduction of Sharepoint to integrate with our Exchange Server, and supporting system enhancements. ILLINOIS is consistently among the top, if not at the top, of wired campuses, providing wireless access to students throughout public spaces. The Business Instructional Facility is fully wireless and boasts Virtual Bulletin Boards with touch-screen technology for students to access current news, stock market reports, events, art and entertainment.
