我排除C是因为这里began和was completed是平行的，我觉的也得在began前面加上was才是真正的平行吧？因为OG有不少是被动语态平行的，比如说什么was injured, was opened什么的。
这个地方既然是was completed,为什么不是was begun?

首先begun不是被动，begun用于完成时态。
其次 was began是对应was completed，但是由于前面which was known已经有

was了，所以我的理解是was在began前面被忽略了。

如果是个前面的was一样是在从句里面的，那后面的was complete也是在从句里的，整个句子就不完整了

不好意思楼主我误导你了~我刚查了下，begin是没有被动的，所以这里的began和was时态对称，都为一般过去时！

楼上的太误人子弟了，was bagan算啥啊？被动语态也不是这么个表述，哪有be动词+过去式表被动的？
