答案是a,没有什么疑问,但是想到关于一个定语从句的疑问。

a中的whose应该是定指前面的homeowners,根据og前面有一题的解释,感觉这样说言外之意还有不是这样的homeowner,而其他的选项都说就这么一种homeowner,不知道这样判断是否正确?

个人以为,这里的情况可能你说的恰恰相反。如果把whose前的逗号去掉,变成限定性定语从句,那才是你说的:“言外之意还有不是这样的homeowners”。这里用非限定性,就是告诉你所有的homeowners的equity都可能会化为乌有。因为说所有homeowners,所以句子用potentially和can这种表uncertainty的词语以求准确。供参考。
