by the Greek playwright Euripides. Of these, ten called the “select

plays,” are accompanied in L by ancient commentaries and also

appear in other medieval manuscripts; this group includes some of

which appear in alphabetical order, without commentary. The Electra is

one of the alphabeticals.

The Answer is E. I wonder how it derives "  Euripides’ Electra does not appear accompanied by a com-mentary in any extant medieval manuscript" from "Euripides’ Electra does not appear accompanied in L".

So confused.. Can anyone help? Thanks!

有个叫L的mm包含18个现存的t,18个t分为两部分，第一部分是10个t，叫sp,伴随着ancient commentaries,而且这10个t也会出现在其他的mm中，这些t包括Medea；剩下来得8个t按照字母排序，没有commentary,Electra 是其中的一个t。

是啊,我也感觉奇怪.

有人说是C,但是你看看C说的是古时候没有对Euripides’ Electra的评论.原文只是说L对18个戏剧中的10个做了评论,可没保证没有其他人不对另外的8个不做评论吧.

有人说是E,但是E说的是在现存的中世纪的手稿中,Euripides’ Electra都没有被评论.原文只是说手稿L不评论,并不表明其他现存的中世纪手稿里面没有评论吧(或许有或许没有)
