推荐信身份该是署名PROFESSOR还是老板？

我在加入另外一家公司之前，曾经在我的导师创办的咨询公司中兼职。所以，想让我的导师也帮我写封推荐信，毕竟他对我非常了解。但是不知道该让我的导师应该用何种身份来署名推荐信？是教授头衔呢？还是这家咨询公司创始人头衔？

如果是用咨询公司创始人头衔，我又怕导师是不是不愿意？毕竟他还算国际知名教授。他如果用公司创始人身份给我写推荐信，我怕他是不是会有所顾虑。

请各位能帮我出下主意。

私以为看推荐信的内容吧  着重推荐学术能力的话就署名professor

Hey there!  Generally, adcoms don’t have as much interest in professor letters of rec as they do bosses.  So have him write it as your boss, and then in the rec, he can also state that he is a professor.  That is the best way to get credit for BOTH aspects.  J  That was an easy one—I wish we had more easy questions like this, so I could help more people!  Good luck!
