GMAT and GPA are two main components used to evaluate your acdemic ability. No doubt that you will have a hard fight to get into top10 with a low GPA (<3.0). What you can do are: 1. Ace GMAT. Over 750+5.0 if you can. 2. Take some part-time courses and ace them. 3. Use the optional essay to explain that your low GPA is not because of a low IQ or lazy attitude. 4. Prove your ability to learn new skills at work with your other essays. Each year top-10 MBAs admit quite a few applicants with GPA between 2.5 to 3.0. It will be a hard fight, but not an impossible one. |
