AI: 5.“All groups and organizations should function as teams in which everyone makes decisions and shares responsibilities and duties. Giving one person central authority and responsibility for a project or task is not an effective way to get work done.”

AA. 108. The following appeared as part of a business plan created by the management of the LACE>LACENAME>TakeLACENAME> LACENAME>HeartLACENAME> LACENAME>FitnessLACENAME> LACETYPE>CenterLACETYPE>LACE>.

“After opening the new swimming pool early last summer, Take Heart saw a 12 percent increase in the use of the center by members. Therefore, in order to increase the number of our members and thus our revenues, which depend on membership fees, we should continue to add new recreational facilities in subsequent years: for example, a multipurpose game room, a tennis court, and a miniature golf course. Being the only center in the area offering this range of activities would give us a competitive advantage in the health and recreation market.

1) X got votes from 50% of male voters

2) Y got votes from 60% of female voters

Mine: B (433= F 60%, => F , => X = 483 + F 40%)

  1. An equation= 0.0004* 0.0025 * 0.000016 * 0.00000125 * 10 ^Y. What is the least value of y in order to make the equation whole as an integer?

Mine: 0.0004* 0.0025 * 0.000016 * 0.00000125 * 10 ^Y= 2* 10 ^(-17)* 10^Y

Y= 17

  1. A semicircle. The radius of it is 6 feet. A perpendicular line intersects with the diameter of the semicircle. The intersection point is 2 feet left of the center point of the semicircle. What is the height of the perpendicular line?

Mine: h^2 + 4= 36, h= 4v2

  1. Line AB // line CD horizontally, Line AC and line BD intersect with Line AB and line CD. Is line AC // line BD?

1) angle CAB = angle BDC

2) angle CAB + angle ABD = 180

  1. A survey of 200 people. 160 of them have a cell phone and 90 of them have a pager. If any of them have a cell, a page or both, what is the percentage of people who either do not have a cell phone or not have a page?

Mine: (200- (160 + 90- 200)) /200 = 75%

  1. A person bought A and B. The total cost of the expense is 1.6 How many A did the person buy?

1) the cost of each A is 0.35, the cost of each B is 0.45

2) the number of A = the number of B

11.What’s the reminder of (7^48 + 7^22- 5)/ 7 ?

12. The question will give you a graph that has several different points showed on it. One of these points, P is at (s, t). What is the point that is at (-t, -s)?

(You can figure out that (s, t) is some point at (-x, +y), therefore you can go with the one has (-y, +x).)

13. What is the reminder when n is divided by 3?

1) The reminder when n + 6 is divided by 3 is 2

2) The reminder when n^2 is divided by 3 is 1

14. What is the least value of the following choices?

-3/4 < X < -1/2

X^2, X^2 + 3X, X^3 … (There few combinations consist of X^2, X^3, 3X, So please get the rough idea of the question.)
