IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
When you arrive at the test center you will be required to present at
least one form of GMAC?-approved, non-expired, government-issued identification (ID) that clearly shows your name (in Roman characters, as in this letter), photograph, signature, and date of birth. With some restrictions and exceptions as noted below and on www.mba.com, the only approved forms of ID are a passport, driver’s license, national or state ID card, or military ID card. The test administrator cannot allow you to test if your ID is not an
approved form of ID, or it does not contain all four of the elements listed above, or it does not match the name and date of birth you provided when you registered for the exam. If your ID is missing one of the four elements (such as a signature), or has expired, you will need to present a second form of ID (matching the name on the first ID) that has the missing element, or is not expired. Please also check to determine whether you belong to one of the groups
of test-takers required to present a passport and/or subject to other ID restrictions, as in the following situations: ?If you are testing in Bangladesh, China (including Hong Kong), India, Japan, Pakistan, Singapore, or South Korea – you must present a passport. ?If the only GMAC?-approved form of ID in your country that includes all the required elements (name, photograph, signature and date of birth) is a passport – you must present a passport. ?If you are testing outside your country of citizenship – you must present your passport (unless you are an EU citizen testing in an EU country). ?If you are a citizen of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, or Syria – you must present a passport together with another form of government-issued documentation (matching the name on your passport) proving your primary residence is in a country not subject to U.S. government sanctions. The information provided above is a summary only. Please visit www.mba.com/GMATIDPolicy for the most current and complete information concerning approved forms of ID, including special restrictions that may apply based on the country you are testing in. ID requirements are strictly enforced at the test center, and test administrators are not authorized to grant exceptions. If you have questions about the ID requirements, are unable to meet them for some reason, or are not sure if your ID is acceptable for entry to the test center, please contact Pearson VUE before your test appointment using the contact information provided below.
