答案是A。我分析答案，觉得是不是A列出了另一个事实来说明问题呢？但是这句“However, that statistic would be what we would expect even if volunteering does not boost longevity”是一个转折啊，应该是削弱了上面所说的内容，A答案怎么感觉木有这个意思？？？求解释！

文中的意思是说即使做志愿者不能够使人长寿，我们也应该可以得出与数据相同的结果：做志愿者长寿。
因此是别的原因导致这个数据结果。A的解释就是说，因为女人更愿意做志愿者，而女人又长寿。正好说的是另一个原因导致的。

people包括了 男+女

再看这里

这两个是平行，然而却并不代表着其中需要存在必然的联系

如果只看总量， 长寿方面--〉  （男+女）
                      义工方面—〉（男+女）
因为虽然只有女性具备这一特制，又长寿，且爱做义工（两者间未必需要因果关系）
合并到总体后 却带来了总体平均值的上升
最后得出个扭曲的结论---〉多做义工长寿。。。
