Position Announcement

Lingnan University is a distinctive liberal arts institution in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It offers honours bachelor's degrees and postgraduate programmes up to the doctoral level.
The Department of Marketing and International Business invites applications for a Research Assistant starting in January, 2009. The length of appointment will be a minimum of one year and up to two years. We offer competitive salary and benefits. The monthly compensation will range from HK$9,500 to HK$19,800. The rank and remuneration on the appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The candidates should have at least a Master degree in international business, strategic management or a related field. The appointee will provide assistance in a project on mainland Chinese multinational corporations, including literature search and data collection and analysis. Candidates should be familiar with the literature of international business and strategic management, research methodology, and statistical analyses. Project experience in both macro-economic and firm-level research are desired. Language proficiency in both English and Chinese are expected. Ability of academic writing in English is definitely a plus. Doctoral students from strong academic programs with an emphasis on the related topics are especially encouraged to apply.
