关于The ones 和 those

prep语法笔记中有两个地方比较迷茫，第一题是说ones在manhattan中不能指代人：

218.(GWD7-Q4)--(B)
Only seven people this century have been killed by the great white shark, the man-eater of the movies—less than those killed by bee stings.

A.movies—less than those

B.movies—fewer than have been

C.movies, which is less than those

D.movies, a number lower than the people
E.movies, fewer than the ones

但是在P85页的解释中提到，IV. one既可代替事物, 也可代替人, that只能代替事物而不能代替人。有时可以用the one或the ones代替that或those。

如果这句话成立的话，那么上题中的E选项是不是就是正确的呢？

沒有看語法筆記哈...但是Ron說，ones絕對不能用來指代人的，而且ones到底是指代seven people還是people？不知道...
manhattan在講one用法的時候，好像沒有特別說過能用在人還是物上..

首先，E选项中的the ones，指代的是前面所说的那些被鲨鱼啃了的人，语义上就翻译成了，那些被大白鲨咬的人再被蜜蜂蛰，语义逻辑上混乱。

其次，one不能指代不可数，一般抽象名词都是不可数的。同时the ones 用的不好，原文无特指。但是这里被动，助动词是不能被省略的。

最后，我的建议是别纠结在pronoun这一部分，不到逼不得已不看代词问题（除了明显的单复数一致，具体实意名词和代词明确的问题之外哈——因为总会有例外和老外的习惯用法）
