...这个题...不算什么特别争议的吧... xiner能把大家争议的帖子贴出来么，我觉得选A是很明显的
B选项的they指代不明确，同时use sth. to do sth是一个比较固定的搭配，最后的那个which逻辑上指代的是前面这一套process，但是语法上指代cigarette，这里应该用伴随结果状语来替换，更何况不划线部分还有and lowering...这样的结构表示平行。
D选项中 that enters不如entering简洁，通常情况下定语从句表示一个单词性的事件，如果里面用一般现在时描述一个经常性习惯性的动作，就应该用ing分词定语替换，同时and后面用slowing 在and之前缺少一个名词性的平行结构
E选项中同样存在use sth to do的问题 应该使用to do而不是in doing，另外也同样存在which的逻辑指代和语法指代不一致的问题
C选项的问题在于 that uses 应该替换为using，同时原句中的entering the cigarette作为定语成分在这里则变成了when it enters作状语成分
这个更改时不合理的，简单说对于很薄的几层纸的使用只能减少进入香烟的氧气 不能在氧气进香烟的时候 减少所有氧气的含量 所以C是不正确的
